Updated October 27, 2026. The Beauty Code is an educational beauty-preference app by Lu Kai Tech LLC. Physical beauty products are purchased from the linked stores; Premium membership is purchased through Stripe.

Account and membership

A signed-in account and completed beauty profile are required to use the studio. Basic is free and includes one saved custom routine, favorites, comparison and ingredient tools. Premium costs $7.99 per month or $75.99 per year (USD), plus tax shown at checkout, and includes up to 12 saved routines and a dated routine journal. Subscription charges renew automatically until canceled. A yearly plan is billed annually, not in monthly installments. Checkout identifies Stripe's payment service and shows the final total before payment. Access is granted only after payment confirmation.

Use Membership → Manage billing to change plans, update payment details or cancel. Stripe displays the effective date and any prorated charge or credit before you confirm a plan change. Cancellation is scheduled for the end of the paid period; it does not erase your saved information. After Premium ends, Basic remains available, existing routines and journal notes remain readable, and adding extra routines or notes requires Premium. Choosing Basic in the app does not cancel a subscription. Contact support for billing or refund questions; Stripe checkout terms and applicable consumer rights also apply. Cancel and allow the subscription to end before deleting your account so billing controls remain accessible.

What the studio does

Your answers sort a growing, reviewed product catalog by simple overlaps in stated skin preferences, makeup finish, style, and hair texture or thickness. Cosmetic goals can add another sorting signal. The reasons are visible on each product. Complexion and undertone can highlight literal shade descriptions published by a brand. These are suggestions to check, not a guaranteed shade match. The optional photo samples colors locally and does not infer skin tone or health. There are no clinically validated match percentages or automated AI recommendations.

Shopping links and product purchases

Basic lets you browse product listings and prices. An active Premium or VIP membership is required to use retailer shopping links and retailer comparison searches. Product purchases are completed directly on the selected retailer’s website, under its prices, shipping, returns and payment terms. The Beauty Code does not process checkout for these products, and membership fees do not include their cost. Research citations remain available for source transparency.

Product information

Each product record shows its source and review dates. The catalog was expanded on October 27, 2026. Some products have dated full manufacturer formula snapshots; a short ingredient highlight is not a full formula. Others require checking the current brand label. Prices are dated U.S. snapshots for a selected size or variant, before tax and shipping. Budget filters exclude products whose prices have not been checked. The catalog does not cover every product or shade worldwide. Formulas, prices, stock, regional versions, and shade availability can change. Product photos are sourced from the linked brands and show example packaging or shades. Packaging and color presentation can change; confirm the current product and shade on the official brand page. Lu Kai Tech does not sell or ship these products. The official links in this version contain no affiliate identifiers.

Results are not guaranteed

Evidence that a product works does not mean it will work for everyone. Results vary, and some people may see no benefit. Research findings apply to the people, product formulation, concentration and conditions studied. They do not guarantee the same outcome for you. Your skin, hair, sensitivities, health circumstances and how you use a product can affect its results and tolerability.

The Beauty Code provides educational product information and preference-based suggestions. It does not promise a particular result, certify that a product is suitable or allergy-safe for you, or replace advice from a qualified healthcare professional. Review each product’s evidence limits, current ingredients, directions and warnings before use. Product information, formulas, prices and availability can change.

When creating an account, you acknowledge that individual results vary and benefits are not guaranteed. This acknowledgment does not replace the evidence required for a product claim. Nothing in this notice limits consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Research and claims

The science library links professional and regulatory guidance, human studies, and laboratory research. Related ingredient or category evidence does not prove that a listed finished formula reproduces a study result. Study design, population, concentration, formulation, funding, and limitations matter. Brand descriptions and studies are not independent clinical verification. The research notes are a selected educational review, not a systematic review or clinician-reviewed treatment service. No popularity, brand size, or price is used as a science score.

Your avoid list

Products with a detected name on your avoid list are excluded from matches. By default, an active avoid list also hides unchecked formulas and tools with unchecked materials. You can choose to reveal unchecked formulas. Your existing comparison bag may still contain something you saved before changing your list; its formula-check row flags detected conflicts. These checks cannot identify every synonym, source, derivative, cross-reaction, or contaminant. No result certifies a product as clean, hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic, or safe for you.

Skin and personal care

This app does not diagnose or treat any condition. Follow the product’s current directions and professional advice for your circumstances. Stop using a product that causes a reaction and seek appropriate care. A simplified ritual is a starting point, not a clinical regimen. The ritual reminds you to follow suitable sun-protection guidance; ingredient lists cannot establish a sunscreen’s SPF.

Photo help

Supported: JPG, PNG, and WebP under 10 MB and up to 32 megapixels. HEIC and SVG are not supported. Click an opaque part of the image to sample its color. With a keyboard, focus the photo and press Enter to sample its center. This is color inspiration only. No photo is uploaded and no medical or biometric analysis takes place.

Saved data and devices

Your profile, favorite products, saved routines and routine notes are stored with your signed-in account and can sync across devices using that identity. Export your profile in My studio. Photos stay in the current browser tab and disappear on reload. A network connection is needed to save account changes; failed saves are reported. Native App Store and Google Play downloads are not available; browser installation depends on your device.

Beta support

For help, contact operation@lukaitech.com through The Beauty Code support page. The app provides account export, reset and deletion controls. A broad commercial release still needs a monitored support channel, a maintained product feed, broader device and accessibility testing, and review of marketing-image permissions and legal documents.
