Effective October 27, 2026. The Beauty Code is a web app operated by Lu Kai Tech LLC, California. This notice describes the Beauty Code account beta.
Product results: Evidence that a product works does not mean it will work for everyone. Results vary, and some people may see no benefit. See Results are not guaranteed in our Terms for product-use limitations. This privacy notice explains how we handle your information.
Your account and beauty profile
Sign-in is provided by ChatGPT. We receive your site-specific user ID, email address, and available display name to identify your account. Your chosen display name, accepted terms version, membership preference, skin, complexion, style, hair and ingredient preferences, sampled color, favorites, and comparison bag are stored in our hosted database under your account ID. They are available when you sign in on another device. Your profile is not public or shared with other members. We do not store a password for you. Older browser-only versions may have left a local profile on this device; clear site data to remove those legacy copies. Do not enter medical records or other sensitive details.
Your photos
Choosing a JPG, PNG, or WebP photo opens it in memory in this tab. The app can sample a pixel color when you click the photo or use its keyboard control. Photo bytes are not uploaded or written to local storage. The photo is removed on page reload, when you close the tab, or when you use Remove photo. Only your selected color sample may be saved. This is not face recognition, biometric identification, skin diagnosis, or automated undertone analysis.
Ingredient lists
Lists you paste into the label helper are processed in the page. The helper’s pasted list and temporary search terms are not saved. Your profile’s avoid list is saved with your profile. Name matching is limited and does not establish safety or suitability.
Hosting and other websites
This app loads its assets from the Lu Kai Tech site and does not include advertising, third-party analytics, external fonts, or third-party trackers. Membership payments are handled on Stripe’s hosted checkout. Our hosting infrastructure may process ordinary request information such as IP addresses and access logs to deliver and secure the site. When you follow an official-brand link, that brand receives your browser request and its own privacy policy applies. Your beauty profile is not included in those links.
Offline files
Where supported over HTTPS, a service worker caches public app files on your device. Only public app files are cached. Account API responses are not cached by the service worker; saving your profile requires an internet connection. Browser storage can be cleared, blocked, or removed by your device; do not rely on it as a permanent backup.
Export, reset, and account deletion

In My studio, Download profile and Copy profile export your written choices and saved product names without your photo. Reset my beauty profile clears your saved profile and products; you must complete setup again. Delete my Beauty Code account permanently removes your account record, membership preference, and saved profile from the app’s active database. It does not delete your ChatGPT account, downloaded copies, or other Lu Kai Tech accounts. Hosting backups and security logs may remain under the hosting provider’s retention processes. Clear site data to remove cached public files and any legacy local profile.

For questions or requests, use Help & support to email operation@lukaitech.com. Your message will identify The Beauty Code. Your local profile is not attached automatically. You can export, reset, or delete your Beauty Code account through My studio, and read current limitations under Terms & help.
Routine and membership data — updated October 26, 2026
Saved routines include selected products, budgets, owned-product flags and notes. Optional Premium journal entries contain the text and date you enter. Keep sensitive medical information out of free-text notes. These records are stored with your Beauty Code account and included in the export.
Stripe processes membership payments. Beauty Code stores opaque customer/subscription references, payment-event identifiers and paid-access dates; it does not receive card numbers. An opaque checkout reference associates the purchase with your signed-in account. The email you enter at Stripe checkout may differ from your sign-in email; use your checkout email to access the billing portal.
Account reset clears beauty profile data but does not cancel billing. You can delete your Beauty Code profile immediately, including while subscribed. Deletion does not cancel a subscription: use Manage billing with your Stripe checkout email to cancel. Minimal transaction and subscription references remain associated with your sign-in identifier for billing administration, disputes and duplicate-charge prevention; your beauty profile, saved products and personal notes are deleted.
Beauty Closet
Beauty Closet is included in VIP, which costs $12.99 USD per month or $120.00 USD per year and renews automatically until canceled. VIP includes Premium features. Existing legacy Beauty Closet subscriptions keep their original price unless changed. Your collection, brands, shades, prices paid, preferences and experience notes are stored privately with your account. Catalog prices do not overwrite your recorded purchase prices. After membership ends, saved closet entries remain readable, exportable and removable. Resetting or deleting your Beauty Code account removes your closet too. Personal experiences are not clinical evidence, and results vary.
VIP records and tools
VIP includes Beauty Closet and all Premium features. Existing subscribers keep their current price unless they choose to change plans through Manage billing. Stripe shows any prorated charge or credit and the effective date before confirmation. Your saved looks, wear feedback, practice logs and calendar entries are stored with your account and can be reviewed and exported. If paid access ends, saved records remain readable, exportable and removable; creating or editing VIP records requires an active eligible membership. Resetting or deleting your account removes these records. Avoid storing sensitive medical details. Your calendar does not sync with external calendars and does not send notifications. No facial analysis, AI camera try-on or virtual makeup is provided.
Technique and routine suggestions are educational. Personal observations are not clinical evidence. Unknown formulas cannot be cleared for sensitivities. A role-based duplicate comparison does not establish identical ingredients, shades or performance. Monthly edits show their publication month; an old edition is identified as archived until a new one is published.
Beauty troubleshooting — October 28, 2026
Fix Me Now, the Beauty Emergency Room and Should I Add This? send your answers and any pasted formula to this site to prepare a rule-based result using your saved profile and selected routine. These tools do not send these entries to an external AI service. Unsubmitted answers and displayed results stay in this tab. A query does not automatically create a rescue record.
When you explicitly consent to Save my solution or update an outcome, the rescue plan, date, notes, feedback and selected product links are stored privately with your Beauty Code account. VIP rescue suggestions use these outcomes and Wear Lab feedback. Products explicitly linked to negative or discomfort outcomes are excluded from automatic suggestions. You can read, export or delete saved rescues after membership ends; new or edited records require VIP. Reset or account deletion removes these records. Do not enter sensitive medical history.
Color guidance and saved preferences — October 29, 2026
When you save your VIP color guide, your selected skin depth, undertone, natural hair color, eye color and contrast are stored privately with your account. The guide uses simple style rules; it does not analyze a photo or diagnose your skin. You can delete this color profile from Find my colors, or erase your beauty data.
Personal Matches uses your saved profile, favorites, and any recorded product experiences to adjust product order and explain preference overlaps. This is rule-based personalization, not a model trained on you. Removing a favorite or changing a recorded experience changes the corresponding preference signal on the next calculation. Ingredient exclusions and recall holds still apply; a preferred brand does not establish safety or effectiveness. No additional browsing tracking is introduced by these features.
The Hype Check
Checks use dated reviewed catalog records, not live video analysis. Effectiveness and personal results are not guaranteed. Your claim text, submitted label and last 20 results are saved privately to your account. The review team can read submitted product names or public links for verification; submitted ingredient lists are not independently verified. Review timing is not guaranteed and no automatic notifications are sent.
Basic includes one introductory check per account; Premium and VIP include ongoing checks. Removing results does not restore the introductory allowance. Profile reset clears checks and requests but retains that allowance record. Account deletion removes these records.
